La Siesta

A really relaxing atmosphere seems to have been built-in to this beautiful family villa in Ibiza. Taking a traditional island style, then adding a creative contemporary twist, the house has an easy flow of sweeping curves and soothing colours. On the upper level, the circular stone tower houses the spectacular bathroom of the master suite, complete with a circular bath in the centre of the room, while a round table takes up position in the kitchen/diner below. The covered balcony, framed by open arches, looks on to a swimming pool softly shaped like an apostrophe and raised with Roman steps from the tiled terrace. Al fresco living is well catered for with outdoors sofas and a barbecue by the pool, and cook service could add the final touch to laid-back leisure. Secluded but not reclusive, La Siesta is just 2km from Cala Llonga and 3km from Santa Eulalia for shops, restaurants, bars and sandy beaches.
