Il Palazzeddu

Beautifully designed by renowned architect Savin Couelle, Il Palazzeddu celebrates its humble history with ancient beams, exposed stone walls, steep stairways inside and out, and doors and windows in a dozen unexpected places. Unpretentious and warmly welcoming, none of its character has been lost in the restoration. The villa is very well-equipped with ample and pretty china glassware and linens and is furnished in very attractive comfortable country style. The spacious Master bedroom and spacious twin bedroom, each with their own bathroom or shower room, are located at opposite ends of the ground floor and share the ground floor with a kitchen with round dining table and pretty sitting room. The third bedroom occupies the upper level, with views of the Med from its big open terrace. Very pretty cottage gardens with flower beds encircle the villa, with lawns around a lovely little pool, and different spots in shade or sun for a quiet read. But it is surprisingly easy to up the tempo from this rural simplicity.  A selection of restaurants and beaches are within very easy reach of the villa and Abbiadori with amenities is also within very easy access. Within a short drive of the airport, this is a good option for a family holiday.
