A wrap-around terrace encircles this lovely welcoming villa in the heart of Kefalonia’s countryside, incorporating a shaded dining patio, a sitting area comfortably furnished in cool rattan, and ample sun-trap space for leisurely lounging. There are gorgeous views from several perspectives, over the valley and forested hillsides, and over the sea to the islands of Ithaca and Lefkada.

On a lower level reached by steps, the swimming pool is set in its own small terrace, with super-scenic views and with gates at each end of the upper terrace protecting access to it. Within the villa itself the décor and furnishings are designed for comfort and embellished with individuality, most notably in the eclectic collection of objet d’art gathered during the owner’s travels. All the rooms, upstairs and down, have direct access to either the terrace or a balcony. Villa Isicos is close to Katsarata, within walking distance of two good tavernas in Manganos, 4km from Fiskardo, and a five minute drive from Foki Bay beach.  This is a great house for walking - there are marked walking trails and guests very much enjoy the walk down through fields and woodland down to Fiskardo which is approximately 30 minutes.
