A Tiria

An enchanting little house in its own walled garden, A Tiria is one of thirteen properties on the blissfully peaceful Murtoli Estate. Built of local stone and barely distinguishable from surrounding rocky outcrops, some date from the 16th century, all are spaced far apart for privacy, and this bijou bergerie is beautifully restored to add contemporary appliances to its romantically rustic character.Designed in studio style, the open-plan arrangement incorporates a kitchen with a little dining table and fireplace, and a sleeping area with double bed. There is a shower room within the house, a utility room occupies an outbuilding, and the lawned garden has a barbecue, al fresco dining area, and very pretty pool with views down the valley to the coast. Along with daily maid service and luxury toiletries, the private estate offers pampering spa treatments, activities ranging from horse riding to helicopter trips, and atmospheric restaurants, quite close to A Tiria.  About a seven minute drive away, the mountainside meets the sea in a series of coves, complemented by Murtoli's private white sand beach.
