Edeline House

Classic but contemporary Edeline House has some of the most hypnotic ocean views on Corfu’s gorgeous northeast coast. Secluded within a cypress-studded forest that simply tumbles down to the ocean, it’s perfectly private – yet also very accessible, with Kerasia Beach and Sinies village both just 1km walk from the house.

This gorgeous villa sleeps 14 (12 in the main house) and is a fabulous option for holidaying with big groups or families. Finished in cool and calming colours, the villa, while big, is completely respectful of its natural surroundings – expect laid-back chic in a classic Corfiot style. There are centuries-old olive trees and year-round blooms in the garden, and natural features, like the hand-sculpted stone walls, sensitively used throughout. Intimate stone-clad terraces are scattered through the property, providing the indulgence of space and privacy if you’re here with a big group. The outdoor dining terrace is a villa standout, with an oversized table for the best in al fresco dining. The terrace looks down to the villa’s luxuriously long ocean-facing infinity pool – and if you're with younger guests, there’s also a smaller children’s pool beside it.

The villa inside is classically simple, and has a good-sized dining area and adjacent living room with French doors that open out to a terraced seating area. The blue-and-white themed kitchen is very elegant, and comes equipped with fantastic mod cons that are perfect for home-cooked villa dinners. If you don’t fancy the hassle of cooking on your holiday, cook service is available here on request – breakfast and one other meal (cost of food is payable locally) is generously included with the villa if you book for July and August. For accommodation, there are six beautiful bedrooms in the main house – four of which are doubles and two twins. Every bedroom includes the luxury of a private en suite, plus French windows that lead out to their own private terrace. If you need the extra space, a further two guests can stay in the villa’s on-site cottage – found in the grounds, the cottage includes an en suite twin bedroom, kitchenette and small living area.
